- On November 6th, 2018, Kojima received the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star from Japanese government.
- On March 4th, 2016, Shoji Kojima received a commendation from the city of Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. Mayor Mamen Sánchez, City Controller Francisco Camas and the director of Teatro Villamarta Isamay Benavente hosted the award ceremony. Kojima also was appointed honorary emissary of the flamenco of Jerez in Japan.
- On April 4th, 2015, Instituto Cervantes of Tokyo gave Shoji Kojima an award for his contribution to the diffusion of flamenco in Japan.
- On July 31st, 2014, the Embassy of Japan in Spain recognized the Company of Flamenco Kojima Latorre's contributions to the quatercentenary of Spain-Japan exchanges event in which we took part with FATUM!: LA FUERZA DEL DESTINO.
- On April 8th, 2013, Shoji Kojima was awarded the Grand Prize «Tokushima's Image Enhancement» of Tokushima Prefecture. The award ceremony was held on the same day by the governor Kamon Iizumi, who commended him for his outstanding achievement in conveying Tokushima's image to the world through his longstanding activities as a flamenco dancer.
- On January 28th we donated our full proceeds of Requiem II to Japanese Red Cross Society. (26/02/2013)
- On January 24th, 2012, we donated our full proceeds of Requiem and all the money raised at Le Theatre Ginza and our studio to Japanese Red Cross Society. (23/02/2012)
- We have launched the English version of our website. (Jan. 16th, 2009).
- Kojima has received the People's Honour Award of Mugi, Tokushima Prefecture. (Dec. 6th, 2009).
- We will give a performance Pasión Flamenca en Mugi in the Ocean Cultural Center of Mugi, Tokushima Prefecture, on December 6th. Kojima will feature «the pilgrimage to Shikoku». For more information read the article of Tokushima Shimbun (in Japanese).

- Kojima will be a guest dancer in desnudo Vol. 3 Shoji Kojima: a Gift of Soul, a production of ARTE Y SOLERA. The performances will be on August 26th, 27th, September 2nd and 3rd, casted by Hiroki Satoh, Yoshio Yano, Sanshiro Sueki, with Mitsuharu Seki y Tomoya Matsuda of our company. - Kojima dedicates a performance to Kūkai (founder of shingon Buddhism) under the title of Holy Life: hommage to Kūkai, on Sunday 14th, June, at Kondō of Danjō Garan of Kongōbuji, the headquarters of Kōyasan shingon Buddhism (Wakayama Prefecture). For more information see this page.
- On March 10th, 2009, Shoji Kojima received la Encomienda de la Orden del Mérito Civil (Order of Civil Merit in the Grade of Commander), handed by His Excellency the Spanish Ambassador to Japan, Mr. Miguel Ángel Carriedo, in the name of His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain at the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo.
- The Spanish Embassy to Japan has announced today, February 24th, 2009, that His Majesty King Juan Carlos I will award la Encomienda de la Orden del Mérito Civil (Order of Civil Merit in the Grade of Commander) to Shoji Kojima. The ceremony will take place on March 10th at the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo.
- The performance of the last month of May, Allende Las Fronteras (Cross-borders), has been nominated for Asahi Performing Arts Prizes (category: dance) according to today's edition of Asahi Shimbun, June 24th, 2008
- In April 2008 Shoji Kojima has been awarded the 39th Dance Critics Society of Japan Prize for his «love and peace trilogy»: El Cant dels Ocells: A Pau Casals (2005), FEDERICO (2006) y Poetas en Guerra (2007).
